From Quetta to Kandahar – Part II

Alexandra finally manages to enter Afghanistan in mid-November. The American and Allied forces, supported by the Northern Alliance, have already seized Mazar-el-Sharif and Kabul.
Alexandra follows the Northern Alliance to the siege of Kunduz and witnesses the surrender of 200 Taliban fighters. In the meantime, the battle of Kandahar has begun and on 10 December, Alexandra is in the city that the Taliban have handed over to the men of Hamid Karzai, the future president of Afghanistan.
