After Pierre, Alexandra had several occasions to work on the couturier Yves Saint Laurent.
In 1998, she followed him during several days while he was preparing his show for the World Football Cup, at the Stade de France in Paris. She was asked by the magazine Paris Match to follow the work her father had done in 1962 and the story was published with Pierre’s pictures too.
Then, when in 2002,Pierre Bergé and Yves Saint Laurent announced the end of the Maison de Couture, she followed the preparation of the last collection and was backstage of the show at Museum George Pompidou in Paris, where, besides his last, Yves saint Laurent displayed 200 of his best pieces since 1962.
