Sandjak

Sandjak, a Yugoslave enigma. Located in the heart of former Yugoslavia, Sandjak lays across the Southern roads of Serbia, Montenegro, and Kosovo. It remains a territory, suspended in time, where, just as in pre-war Bosnia, Muslim and Orthodox are still living together in peace. Ever since Ottoman times, the Muslim community has kept traditions alive, while Orthodoxes continue to love their land, as an ancient Serb kingdom.
